The domestic box office success supports the industry predictions that 3D format will become the standard for cinema goers. Nu Metro Cinemas expects further records to be smashed when BOLT 3D releases on Wednesday, 17 December. Bolt is about a German Shepherd, who has lived his whole life on the set of his action TV show, where he believes he has superpowers. When separated from the studio by accident, he meets Mr. Mittens and a hamster named Rhino. Along the way, he learns that he doesn't have superpowers and that the show is not realistic. Bolt is a stereographic 3D animation.Movie goers are demanding something different in the light of home entertainment. Many of us have HD TVs , Blu Ray and high quality surround sound and studios know we need a reason to go out and spend a little extra on a cinema ticket. Nu Metro Cinemas see 3D as being the answer. Nu Metro 3D Cinemas have few good number of movies due out in 2009. We believe in 3D, the future of entertainment, it is a transforming technology. Once you see something in this new format, its kind of hard to go back. Its like Black and White, once you have seen color, you dont want to go back.
